Xuezhen ZHANG worked as an engineer in Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Sinopec from 1996 to 2005. She was qualified as a patent attorney in 2002 and started her professional career in 2005. She joined Zhongzi Law Office in 2006 and was qualified as attorney at law in 2015.
Xuezhen is a partner of the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Zhongzi Law Office. She mainly focuses her practice on patent prosecution, patent invalidation procedure, patent litigation and opinion works.
She has successfully represented multinational companies and domestic clients in a large number of patent invalidation cases before PRB, in Beijing No. 1 Intermediate Court and Beijing IP Court, as well as Beijing High Court. She also has extensive experience in providing patent validity opinion and FTO opinion to clients. Her practice also covers drafting and prosecution of patent applications in chemical field.

Xuezhen is the co-author of "Tips on Consideration of Evidence ", MIP: China IP Focus 2012.

Xuezhen earned her M.S. degree in polymer chemistry and engineering from Dalin University of Technology in 1996.
